When the tribes gather, every family carries its own standard — a crest raised high, borne shoulder to shoulder down the aisle. There is nothing quite like a room full of banners lifted together.
Next year, we want yours among them. This is where you learn the standard, see how it's done, and gather the resources to get your flag made — and made right — well before the gathering.
Why we carry them
A banner for every house
Israel camped and marched by their standards — each tribe, each father's house, known by its banner. When we raise a flag for our family, we're taking up an ancient practice: declaring who we are, whose we are, and where we stand.
A shared standard is why we hold to one. When the poles are the same height and the flags the same size, no house stands above another — we stand shoulder to shoulder. The specifications below aren't red tape; they're what lets a hundred banners read as one people.
Every man of the sons of Israel shall camp by his own standard, with the banners of their father's households.

Flag Standards
- Size
- 2 ft tall × 3 ft wide

- Printed on both sides

- Your family crest and, if known, your tribal affiliation
- Attachment
- Grommets — not a pole sleeve
- So it flies from the pole the same as everyone else's.
Pole Standards
- Diameter
- 1 in – 1.25 in
- Height
- 7 ft – 8 ft tall
- No taller or shorter — we stand shoulder to shoulder.
- Streamer plate
- 3 in – 3.5 in diameter
